Nancy Bassett, CCC-SLP

Nancy Bassett is a Montana native who transplanted to Utah in 2006 for her first job as a speech and language therapist. She lives in Payson, UT with her husband and her two little dogs. She enjoys  kids, mysteries and crafts which means she picked the perfect career. She and her husband are starting a new adventure as foster parents this fall.

Experience

Nancy has worked for 12 years as an SLP in the Juab School District which has given her a wide range of expertise in working with children. Determined to provide the best therapy for those she serves, she has gained special training in the areas of autism, AAC, apraxia and persistent articulation disorders. In this setting, she was privileged to supervise graduate students as they gained a masters degree and to mentor novice SLPs on their path to national certification. She has also worked in early intervention, rehab centers, clinics and home health.
